Sources

Over the past 10 years, I have spent countless hours researching and reading about plant-based nutrition.  I have read 28 books to date and hundreds of articles, all written by doctors with extensive backgrounds on plant-based nutrition, of whom Dr. T Colin Campbell, Dr. Esselstyn, Dr. Barnard and Dr. Greger are my favorite sources.  Today, I continue to deepen my knowledge by staying on top of the most up to date information and studies posted by the Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine, the Cancer Institute, and articles submitted by prestigious universities such as Cornell, Harvard and Yale.

I have adapted and mingled everything I have researched into simple and easy formats designed specifically for busy parents.  If you are a busy mom or dad who wants the best for your children, but can’t find the time or don’t know where to begin to dig through the overwhelming amount of information available, then Walker’s Way is for you.

Please know, I am not a medical doctor or registered dietician.  All of the articles I write are based on the studies, research and findings from these sources.

I highly encourage everyone to visit the following sites for more in-depth articles on plant-based nutrition.  Each site has a wealth of information and each is a very reliable resource.  Plant-based nutrition is my passion and I read information from each of these sites daily.  My goal is to share what I learn so we can help our little ones perform and feel how nature intended: vibrant, healthy and full of energy.
